Summer Vacations
Beautiful vacation photos of Clover's brother Finn and his family in P.E.I. easily identified by the glorious red sand beaches.
Photos of Finn enjoying P.E.I. 'full throttle' is how his owner describes his summer vacation. Obviously he is related to Clover.
Finn is the family companion of the Kennedy family.

A dog called Beau
No new photos as things are insane here. In the mean time be sure to take a moment to watch this beautiful poem written and read by Jimmy Stewart.

Angel or Devil's Spawn?
What do you see when you look at this photo of Clover? A sweet, sleepy puppy...well you would be wrong, this little wiry canine is pure evil. It's true, my super easy, sweet puppy is 6 months old and has morphed into a holy terror. It's like she woke up one day and decided that she was going to make ever waking hour an exercise in annoying everyone in the house. Daisy bares the brunt of it as she is just too nice, Clover has been mauling her, oh yeah it's all in 'play' but I can see that evil little schnauzer mind working away with thoughts of future world domination. I am to blame, she has been such an easy pup to have around that I have let her have way too many liberties at way to young an age. So operation 'attitude adjustment' starts today for the little hooligan. Check back for updates, I think the journey is going to be bumpy.

August grasses
The ornamental grasses are in full bloom and Fiddle is snapped during a morning walk. I love how in August these specialty grasses look their best and thankfully the lawn growth has slowed down tremendously. I am not a big fan of grass cutting and unlike our suburban friends you will never see me out watering the grass on a dry day, on the contrary, I love the low maintenance of dry, brown grass. If I had the extra cash I would gladly indulge in beautiful gravel lawns :-))

Running our cares away
The birth of pups, although a wonderful and exciting time I also find very stressful. Trinny's pups born on Friday even more so. Not that anything went wrong, on the contrary, this was one of the easiest, fastest deliveries (7 healthy pups born in less then 3 hours) however, Trinny is the much loved companion of another family, which means I worry twice as much, wanting everything to go as smoothly as possible with no additional dramas.
Once the pups arrived and everyone settled in it was a blast to head off to the lake with Hexe and blow off that stress. Hexe is the perfect beach buddy.

boring
We are all sitting around waiting to see if today is the day Trinny's pups arrived. Clover says, SUPER boring!!!!
I couldn't help but post this photo after I put the one of Clover up. Her mom Fiddle has certainly perfected the "life can be soooo boring" look. Clover you're cute but you have a long ways to go before you are as expressive as your mom :-))
