Making nice
Clover met the pups for the first time this morning. I was a bit tentative about how it might go, Clover can be a little....boisterous at times. Of course just when you think you know a schnauzer they do a complete three-sixty on you. Clover was fantastic with them, very careful, lots of sniffs and kisses, didn't even steal their toys (Daisy are you listening to this?). Now, that doesn't mean that in a couple of weeks when they are racing around that she will be able to contain herself, but she did surprise and impress me. Maybe Boot-camp is working on the little hooligan.

Angel or Devil's Spawn?
What do you see when you look at this photo of Clover? A sweet, sleepy puppy...well you would be wrong, this little wiry canine is pure evil. It's true, my super easy, sweet puppy is 6 months old and has morphed into a holy terror. It's like she woke up one day and decided that she was going to make ever waking hour an exercise in annoying everyone in the house. Daisy bares the brunt of it as she is just too nice, Clover has been mauling her, oh yeah it's all in 'play' but I can see that evil little schnauzer mind working away with thoughts of future world domination. I am to blame, she has been such an easy pup to have around that I have let her have way too many liberties at way to young an age. So operation 'attitude adjustment' starts today for the little hooligan. Check back for updates, I think the journey is going to be bumpy.

Black & White puppy portrait
Sometimes I forget Clover is only 5 months old, she has really fit into our home, big bonus, all the dogs lover her. She is (usually) an absolute delight. Devilish for sure, but overall a real pleasure. Clover is the first Fiddle pup I have kept for myself, Fiddle was such a bright and busy puppy, her naughty antics seldom failed to make me laugh, Clover is very much her mothers daughter.

Our Lucky Clover
I dithered a long time on whether to keep both Clover and Quiz and finally decided that two pups was too many for me to raise properly at this time. It was too easy to just let the pups amuse each other while I got on with other projects.
Sunday Quiz headed off to an exciting adventure in Ohio with his new family. I would miss him, however Clover is taking up most of my time. It takes a lot of work to exhaust a 14 week old schnauzer pup!
Clover missed Quiz initially, by Monday you could almost read her mind...Quiz who??
Clover recharging her puppy batteries and thinking of new ways to torment us.
