Summer breeze

Absolutely stunning summer days this week, sunny, breezy, not too hot and cooling at night for sleeping.  Hope everyone has a beautiful weekend.

New camera lens

 Mick bought a new portrait lens for our Canon.  This morning I am playing around with it.  If you follow my blog you know how much I love to shoot my dogs in portrait

The new camera also allows us to shoot SLR video, quality is really nice

Happy Thanksgiving

Long weekend in Canada to celebrate our Thanksgiving. Hoping the weather is good and we get to spend it outside

Starting with the Pepper & Salt as I did I knew that schnauzers came in MANY different shades of grey, but who would of thought that Black could vary so much?  Trick questions, they are not suppose to, but, believe me they do!

More Easter weekend

 Mick added a rail to the side of our summer deck on Saturday allowing the dogs full access without my worrying they are going to launch themselves off and head over to disrupt the chickens.  It has become the Chicken Observation Area for the dogs and will be a great hang out place this summer.

Often on the blog I will get artistic with a photo, change it up a wee bit, like this one of Cyrus taken this morning.  I ran a couple of different Photoshop processors on it to come up with this desaturated photo of Cyrus enjoying a good chew.

Frosty frosty morning

Yesterday was our first snowfall, didn't do anymore then a light sprinkling on the grass, gone within minutes.  We have had lots of cold mornings this month, this was our first really frosty one that actually stuck to schnauzer beards.

I try to get Cyrus into town to walk a couple days a week, he adores meeting people and new dogs.  Today was windy and dark as we wait to see how much of the coming storm touches us in Southern Ontario.

Yep, our dogs are obsessed with the Cuz Dog Ball.  They make dogs crazy, I have to hide mine on top of a cabinet when finished playing, the dogs circle the cabinet like sharks when they know it's there.
