Our (belated)Birthday Girl

Olive is a year old...yesterday, I am always a little behind. She is affectionate and fun, our youngest puppy Poppy LOVES her best, well her and Hazel, both of whom enjoy endless puppy play. She can be bubbly and enthusiastic, but definitely has a very soft and sensitive side. I see lots of her mother in her physically, however temperamentally she is very different from Fiddle, more like her happy father. Big Happy Birthday wishes to all her litter-mates. The BIG number TEN!!!

"Happy Birfday to me, happy birfday to me....I look like a monkey......and I smell like one too" "Speak for yourself Cutter! I am just so embarrassed to see my age in print for all to read, a lady never reveals her age." Yep our dynamic dual of Cutter and sister Hope turned 10 years old yesterday. I can barely believe that time has flown by that fast. Happy birthday to the worlds cutest siblings and two of the easiest pups I have ever raised. They have been a joy.

I am bad for never remembering the birth date of pups, but as I received an email this morning from an owner of Clover's sister reminding me, I thought I would wish all the Fiddle & Jett pups a happy first Birthday! Baby Clover at 4 weeks of age

Happy 14th Jewels!

Jewels turned 14 yesterday. Hard to believe that more then a decade has flown by since the arrival of her and her 7 siblings. I still remember each pup from that litter. Most have now passed away and I am thankful to have my girl Jewels with me. She was such a chubby little pup, from the beginning Jewels was independent and strong minded, little has changed in 14 years. Jewels had a little bad spell in her health last Autumn, but she has really picked up this year and is going strong. Jewels adores our new naughty pup Clover and happily plays with her, barking and rolling around on the floor with her great granddaughter. Jewels has never had time for timid pups that lack self esteem, Clover is full of herself and this obviously delights her great grandma. Happy Birthday Jewels, here's to number fifteen!

Lucky Thirteen
