You would think with a houseful of schnauzers vermin wouldn't be a problem, but alas we are talking squirrels, one of the most intelligent seems to be these little red ones. Here they are tackling our 'squirrel proof' bird feeder.
Can't sit on the feeding ledge and scarf back all the seed, not a problem, hang off it and pick seed out the little bitty side holes.
Check out the funny video below, guess they gave up and decided to just go with the flow and enjoy the little buggers. Why not challenge them and make them into SUPER thinking squirrels
Perhaps the Yankee Spinner/Flipper below is our next choice, at least it appears it will provide us with entertainment, hopefully at the squirrels expense.

BUNNIES at the bird feeder!!!!!!!!!!
Yep this morning the rabbits have discovered the feeders and the dogs are beside themselves with excitement. This is WAY better then squirrels.
***Note to self, time for the porch Christmas tree to come down.
Hope and Cutter on their tippy toes watching the cotton tailed wonders. Every now and then a squeak or yodel is emitted by the dogs.
Yep the cooped up winter blues are back and Fiddle has taken up her post as chief Squirrel and Bunny watchdog. Nothing in fur escapes her detection. Yesterday a red squirrel with a sense of humor spent a good 45 minutes grooming himself in the branches above the window. I am sure he is aware of the stress he caused poor Fiddle.
