What type of snake is that?
I have had a couple of folks ask what type of snake Fiddle caught? Hmmmm.....a really stupid snake! The sad dead snake is a Eastern Milk Snake, they are harmless to humans, though when agitated they quiver their tail like a rattlesnake which seems to be effective in worrying most people. We see more of these then the popular Garter Snakes around our place.
The one above I found in the dog room this summer. Their main diet is small rodents, which is why I hate to see a dead snake. Any creature willing to help us keep mice out of our house is very welcome here.
